Do divan beds come with a mattress?

The base and mattress are sold as separate choices so you can match the mattress firmness to how you sleep. Any UK-size mattress fits a matching divan base.

Do divan beds come with a headboard?

Headboards are chosen separately and bolt onto the base. Our floor-standing headboards fit any divan base of the same size.

Can divan drawers be fitted on either side?

Yes. Tell us which side you need when ordering, so the drawers open into the room rather than against a wall.

Are divan beds better than slatted frames?

Divan bases give even, continuous support and do not creak the way slats can work loose over time. Slatted frames allow more airflow beneath the mattress. For most UK bedrooms a divan base is the more practical choice, especially where storage matters.
